I want to purchase an intake for my S. I dont care about colder air, or increased HP or whatever. I just want the sound created by an intake. Which one's sound badass? Which ones are the least expensive?

So far from my research:

AEM V2 = $239 and requires a few hours labor
PRM = $279 easier to install

Anything less expensive? I dont want to go completely ghetto.

 

K&N's are pretty affordable...

 

Just take the top off your stock one.

 

I have it off now. But from my experience with my previous cars, the sound generated from an intake versus just removing the air chamber box is quite different. Thats why I am inquiring about an intake.

 

Ebay brands are pretty cheap, but i don't know how they are.

 

Just get the AEM V2, don't go for some cheap piece of crap.

 

yes that is true...u buy an s2000 and go cheap on parts then i think u shouldn't of bought this car in the first place...u gotta pay to play man...if u want cheap parts go buy an american car cheaper or something
