use an OBD reader and get the code. shocking to see a CEL on the S as they are ultra reliable.

ok
i just reset my ecu and drove the car about 2miles and no lights on.

hmm i think it was the fuel cap.

maybe maybe not, we'll see how it goes.

If it's the fuel cap, then it'll take 3-6 driving cycles for the CEL to turn off after you tighten the cap (at least that's what it takes on my '02). Naturally, this is now a moot point since you've reset the ECU.
