My guess is it's the maintenance required light.

in case it hasn't been mentioned already, DON'T drive the car if the CEL is blinking. If the light is steady drive it to an AutoZone, Pep Boys or other store or dealer if you really have to (they'll charge you an arm & a leg though) and find out what the code is. Like I said, if the light is blinking I'd have it towed to a place that will find out the code. A blinking CEL is serious and you could do a lot damage to it if you drive it.

so, the Check Engine Light is on constant and not blinking..

I've only had the car for 2000 miles.

Can Pep Boys or Firestone Check the Codes ?

If you've only had the car for a short time, it could be the "gas cap" issue.

Some AP1s had a fuel filler neck that wasn't quite up to spec. It caused the gas caps to "stick" making people think that it was tight when it wasn't. It would trigger an emissions CEL.

Replacing the gas cap helps temporarily, but the definitive fix is replacing the fuel filler pipe.

That being said, I just push in when turning to make sure it snugs up. Kind of a PITA, but it's not a DD for me.

Hey guys n gals- not sure if this thread is still looked at ever but I am reading a couple codes I’m not seeing on any of these lists and hoping someone can offer some insight on what they may be flagging.

C0357 stored
and C0757 pending

only thing I can find is that the C0357 may be a possibly a “park switch high sensor” but thought that would only apply to an automatic transmission?

c0757 possibly a MaF sensor? Or ACP sensor?

thoughts?
thanks for any input!

I thought the 90k was referring to RPMs at first glance, and I thought no wonder his CEL light came on, LOL.
