SO DONT DOUBT THE INTEGRA POWER OR ONE DAY YOU MIGHT LIVE TO EAT YOUR WORDS.

If you have to ask then you have never driven an S (enough) to know what it is all about. This is the best money I have spent, I have always been into Hondas, I currently have 3. I have never understood the riceboys spending all that cash on a car that will never handle the way the stock S will. Mine is stock, pretty much, and if Honda sticks to only producing it for 5 years then I think when it is sitting in my garage X years down the road, I think I will have the same feeling the guys with the '63 in their garage have.
There is no comparison. No matter what you do to a Civic or an Integra, it is still what it is. Doesn't matter if you got a turbo sitting under the hood of your Civic, people will still see a Civic. In the real world, people don't judge your car by the mods it has, they judge it by the name/badge and stock performance.
While the Civic has the double wishbone suspension to make a great handler, it lacks punch (somewhat remedied by the SiR). The Integra Type R has punch, extremely neutral handling but purists will always point out that it's driven by the wrong wheels and that it's quite boy racer-ish. I see the S2000 as a evolution of this. It's not quite in the super car territory as the NSX (but uses its rear wheel drive setup and cutting edge looks), but it is definately a step up on the Integra VTEC models (more powerful, higher revving 4 cylinder) and two steps up on Civics ($$$).

500 hp on an s2000? With the right R&D and a nicely matched turbo, well over 500 hp is attainable. Civics and integras have just been on the rice market longer, and therefore have more products to curb that go-fast ricer urger.

"word up" <lol>
thats what i tell people that say our car has no mods...our car has been around for 3 years. the miata has been around for along time and that allows alot of mods to come out for it, (nice ones too) same with the ricer civics, and sadly to see the great looking itr riced
for those who live around fishers/indianapolis areas if you ever hang around 82nd st for more than an hour you will see about 20-30 riced cars, literally.
and yes the itr is driven by the wrong wheels, i think every car that is a "sports car" should be rwd

what you mean all hondas are the same and deserve the same respect? get the hell outta here....i wouldnt have fun in a gsr....after driving my s2. rear wheel drive is a little different. more fun to drive. when you get one...you wouldnt wanna go back either.
No id love to have an s2000 over my gsr ,but at the same time i wouldnt put down a integra or civics. ITS ALL IN THE FAMILY. I think sometimes s2000 owners dont wanna be classified as the same kinda person whod drive an integra so they have to make a point of putting down other hondas. A civic can be a very enjoyable car to drive as well ( amagine driving a fully spooned hatch from japan...this would give me just as much enjoyment as driving an s2000 just different driving charaestics. So open your mind to the enjoyment of all honda is.
