I had a similar experience in a previous vehicle of mine....A clicking sound that was worse when I was turned one direction. It turned out to be the bearings in the CV Joint. Hope that might help

I have this, a very high pitched metalic clink when I reverse and stop, and tons of clicking. Like I'm running over something. It started not to long ago and it's getting worse, how can this be normal?

Is there any danger to taking this car on a trip? The dealer said they didn't hear it when they messed with it.
Easy fix. Honda changed the axle nut torque spec.
you can do it yourself..

I had very similar clicking noise, but when accelerating. When I went to see a Honda mechanic, he said that this is coming from the axels, because the CV joints are probably too dry and have to be repacked with grease. Keep in mind the car is pretty old (MY 2000 on about 90000 miles). After they charged me for 2 hours labor to remove the axels, grease the CV joints and put them back, the noise is completely gone. I couldn't believe my ears, because I was prepared for the worst: to have to pay for differential repair. Anyway, I know similar noise can be fixed even with simply re-torquing the axel/spindle nuts.

Hope this helps.
