Default Clutch problems

Hi everyone A couple of days ago i have had problems with my clutch pedal being floppy and losing its presure(stiffness), its ok for small journeys but any more than 20 mile the car seems to start riding the clutch alot and you can smell the clutch burning like its sticking on.

I have been told that it could be the clutch master cylinder or slave cylinder, has anyone had a problem like this........?? (seems to only do this when the car is properly warmed up)

Help on what it could be etc would be brilliant, thanks guys

P.S i have topped up the resivoir up and before every journey since then i have pumped the pedal about 25 times before driving just incase there was air locks in the pipe.

Have you tried flushing out the old fluid?

Seems like you may have bubbles in your clutch fluid.

If that doesn't work ... just get a replacement part from Honda. Good luck!

check the slave cylinder on the trans for fluid leaks. Also check under the clutch pedal in the car. find where the rod for the pedal goes to the firewall and look for leaks.

if anything is leaking replace it, but if its already smelling like burning clutch the clutch is most likely already worn out.

The clutch is fine, i have tested it out, its only when the car is warm it seems to be sticky.

i will definately check the pedal tomorrow morning, i thought the slave cylinder was in the transmition, does this mean its on the outside of trans box then??

Go to the car, press the clutch in and out a couple of times..., check your master and slaves..., I bet there is some fluid escaping.
