Default covered under warranty?

I got my S2k 7 months ago and the rubber seal right by the rear of the passenger side window has torn about an inch and half. It was torn to the point where it will wrap around the outside of the window on its own when the window is rolled up.

Would this be considered wear and tear or would it be covered under warranty? I would normally consider this wear and tear but I wouldn't think this should tear after such a short period of time.

I don't know but I would think it should be covered under warranty. The weather strip is sertainly suppose to last longer than 7 months.

Why not take it to your dealer and ask them?

Here's my motto: "Never hurts to try!" So give it a try (meaning, bring it to a dealership and ask 'em).
