Honda installer pointed out that the coils each have a l or r clearly written on the labels, so I think there is a difference. I wish there wasn't. How much are the bilsteins?

CR suspension results in a car that is very different than a standard S2000. You would have to experience the 2 models to know. Clearly the Honda website states that the CR shaves over 2 seconds off the race course Tsukuba. To do this with the same horsepower and torque says a lot of what the total car has become with the CR topline model. The tradeoff harshness is a small price to pay for true club racer capability in a dailly driveable car.

Premier Performance
Nothing exemplifies Honda racing skill and ingenuity like the S2000 CR

SIDriver: I can easily kick the back end around on a track day mashing on the VTEC or trail braking a bit too much. So its not like it feels like a Civic or anything like that.

UPDATE

finished install for all 4 coils.

the difference is incredible. it corners so flat, so composed. i drive the same twisty route everyday so i believe it is a good comparison.

no doubt that the stock s2k is already amazing, but this is truly a bump up with the sacrifice of some ride quality. the corners almost feel "too easy" to handle with the car in this configuration. if this means anything to you, a sweeper turn i felt on edge at 57mph, i took it at 62mph and knew that it could easily handle more.

the ride suffers in that you feel more details of the road. it was not pleasant at first, but after 2 weeks of driving, i almost don't notice it anymore.

highly recommend this mod to anyone unless you consider the stock s2k your luxury ride cruiser.
