Did you accidently switch the display from miles to kilometers?

187 km = 116 miles

116 miles/5 gal. = 23.2 mpg

 

The day after I bought my car I drove:

226 - 8.9 25.3 - top up, AC on
207 - 7.5 27.6 - top down, AC off, windows up
227 - 8.1 28 - top up, AC off, vent only
233 - 8.6 27 - top down, AC off windows up/down
241 - 8.8 27 - top down, AC off windows up/down

This is usually going 8-15 over, so 78-85mph. I'm betting I could crack 30 really easy going 70 or lower, and not using the cruise control so much. I actually drove about 2 tanks more than that, but I don't know where the records went. The reason I had the top down so much is because I had the old hardtop strikers and it was quieter with it down!

 

hmm i dont drive that hard and redline only a handful of times each tank but manage to average just 24-26 how are you guys getting higher?!

 

driving in cold weather helps me... thats what i found...
