Yeah! Be like Porsche and charge us an extra $561 for it! And save the folks who don't want it the 18 ounces!

You guys are all missing the point. The BEST fun you can have with Cruise Control, is to set the speed at something like 85 or 90, slow down (in my case it's because in NJ there's always traffic) then find some open highway, hit Resume, and enjoy that rush as the car hammers itself back to speed. It always amazes me how fast the car is, even in top gear, when someone else is pushing on the Loud pedal!

I only use it on the interstates, and I'm glad I have it then.

When I bought my S2000 I was comparing to the MR2 Spyder, and not having cruise control (but mainly no luggage space)was a factor.

At first I didn't care for the power top until I got caught in a freak rainstorm. Now I can't live without it.
I think Honda set up the S2000 just right.

I give the S2000 cruise control high marks. Very definitely, it serves a useful purpose for speeding ticket control. This cruise control works better than any I have ever experienced before, perhaps because of the digital speedometer. If you set if for any speed, it will not even change by 1 mph. And a simple brief tap can be used to increase or decrease by exactly 1 mph.

Probably the only thing you'll gain by doing his is being watched more carefully and more often in the future.
