and making fun of paying customers is right?

this thread is in poor taste.

FTR no one mentioned any names you just decided to come out and help the post along and call your own self out.

but lets leave the rest to email, it is not my intention to slander or make any vendor look bad.

Sorry i posted in this thread to begin with.

OK, here is one.

Customer has a problem with his/her order. Instead of e-mailing the vendor, they post a thread on an internet forum, bashing the vendor.
This thread is stupid.

The main thread that you all are referring to is about a person who had already been in contact multiple times.

BTW, I don't really dig the S badges, but after a glance in this thread, I'd skip buying from Rick.

Bad idea to talk smack about your customers on their own forum. Bad idea.

some of you are mis-interpreting the original tone of this thread. a lot of the venders/sponsors on here are good suppliers and are quite fair. one mix up and they are bashed regardless of their enormous positive track record.

That is exactly the point. We are all human, and we all make mistakes. When a vendor does it, sometimers it leads to a bash thread. Sometime, that thread is truly needed, others it would have been handled witout the thread anyway.

As we saw for the last Vendor X is bad thread, there was more positive comments in the thread then negitive.

I personally had no customers to bash, but I did see an oportunity to have everyone share their customer stories in a humorus way. We have had them as vendors, and been them as customers.

he wanted it a week earlier, and he didnt want to deal with the risk of a refurb. best buy probably lost $50 to save him $20.

it's a service industry.....isn't all of this a part of doing business?
if customers are such a pain in the ass, why stay in business?

again it's business, nothing personal. if a buyer can find it else where for less why not buy it for less?

many times i've gone into pep boys for odds and ends only to find their prices are higher than their competitors...so i ask them to beat the price...they always do.

it's a part of doing business...

and in this economic climate, it's sink or swim.

i have no loyalties.
We stay in business for the 99.99% non-pain in the ass customers.
