it's a service industry.....isn't all of this a part of doing business?
if customers are such a pain in the ass, why stay in business?
again it's business, nothing personal. if a buyer can find it else where for less why not buy it for less?
many times i've gone into pep boys for odds and ends only to find their prices are higher than their competitors...so i ask them to beat the price...they always do.
it's a part of doing business...
and in this economic climate, it's sink or swim.
i have no loyalties.

But this is why WalMart has everything made in China these days, and not the US as they had in the past. You will always find things the cheapest where you get the least level of customer service. For Walmart they work on Volume to make up for, that allows them to offer some basic customer service.
So yes, it is part of doing business. Yes, we all as vendors deal with it.
But again, this was a thread was people shold share where they were unreasonable with a vendor, or a vendor could share an unreasonable customer story. It was all meant in fun, and for the most part has been that way.
So have fun with it.
my buddy bought an escort 8500 from best buy back when they were new-got it right before a long road trip. he bought a refurb from ebay at the same time for $20 less, then when it came in a week or two later, he repackaged it into the circuit city package and returned it for a full price refund.
he wanted it a week earlier, and he didnt want to deal with the risk of a refurb. best buy probably lost $50 to save him $20.

What did you pay with?
Funny state law says otherwise.
Cash to the original winner of the GC and pp for the diff. Dont worry i paid plenny of $ all of em actually.
But than again what do i know im a sucky customer
that keeps a vendor in business with my purchases.I was even a 4 time repeat customer.
But hey customers suck right?
Time to find an appreciative vendor that respects there customer and does not post threads bashing the hand that feeds them.
