I went with a 2.5 pipe, i think it works beter then the 2.25. I got about 1/4 inch of the stock pipes in the 2.5 pipe from both sides then welded it on. looks very clean.
Mine was done this way also, very clean looking welds and placement. I notice a little more volume and tone when standing behind the car at idle but not a lot. Sound is great throughout the rev-range.

After lurking around this article for a couple of days, and finally decided to try it out. All i can say is wow. I was a disbeliever, but this simple 20 dollar mod add so much more to the sweet sound the S2000 already makes. Two thumbs up!

If you take your car to a muffler shop and they don't know what the resonator is please drive away....QUICKLY.

(It's a little half sized muffler in line about half way down the car)

Like tkeedy said, if you explain to the muffler shop exactly what you've been reading here and they have no idea what you're talking about... RUN

well, after reading all these testemonials, i went to anothony's shop (Spugen) and had them remove the resonator. Now, i can't tell you all what to compare to, because i owned my car for about....22 minutes before i had this done.

But I love it! Not too loud at all
