Some time ago I put an unfortunate scratch on my dash (my watch strap while cleaning). It was really ugly - particularly at night when the backlight turned the scratch into a white line. Enough to make the obsessives among us feel ill.

Anyhow, I only just got round to doing something about it - I used Meguires No17 and No10 plastic cleaner and polish. Although the scratch is still there, you now have to really look for it and it does not show up at night at all. The two bottles only cost me about $13. Good stuff!

There are some other more expensive plastic repair kits out there ($70++) has anyone tried them? Are they worth it? Do they really get rid of deep(ish) scratches?
