Default In Dash Screen

So I see that quite a few people do the work to get the screen in the dash. I see alot of youtube videos from japan that has a in dash screen. What I can't seem to find is, is it factory in Japan or do then also customize there dash's there. Did we get screwed when it came to the U.S.? Just curious.

We got screwed. It's a factory option in Japan. People have used the factory bezel to mount in-dash nav in USDM cars, but it's angled the wrong way so it faces the passenger (since it was made for RHD cars).

Unfortunately you can't just buy the bracket from Japan, as that is meant for RHD cars So you would need to custom make the bracket according to my knowledge. ..

You can also buy the JDM navi bezel, and use a blow dryer to warp it until it creates the desired shape. You can pick one up from Tommy @ GoTuning.
