Default Dashboard Gauges

I like the other guy to see me coming - just for defensive purposes - so my headlamps are on all day and night. Damn its hard to read the instrument panel in daylight especially top down.

Any EEs out there can advise how to defeat the dimmer ?

sandel, if you do a search, or i might have it saved on my comp; there is a website that shows how you can install a day time running light (DRL).

Hold down the (+) button on the gauges for about 5 seconds.

Thats what I do when I feel the need for daytime lights. Just hold down the + for a few seconds and problem solved.

aren't DRLs high beams at half of the power? meaning leaving the HIDs on is just not the same

HIDs are my defensive measure so the + key nailed this one for me. I'm guessing this was in the manual and I forgot it. Thanks again!
