Regardess of the two cars in question, I'd always say go with the new car (assuming they're somewhat equal).

You only get to revel in that new car small so many times... and break it in yourself... etc.

.....if you were comparing 2 brand new cars or even "almost new" that would be a really tough one....but since it's a 2000 boxster S (i think you said) I would pick the S....imo.

plus if they wanted 33k for the boxster and you go with the S2000 that leaves you enough to buy the extended warranty and front and back spoilers
