I can't wait to see the CR first thing in the morning of Apr 6. I've got my ticket for the show already. Ooops, almost forgot---is it premature to sell some of my stocks? Anyhow, I'll sell MY06 if this CR drives better than the Z4 M. I test-drove it today and was quite impressed. I hope the CR doesn't disappoint.

If you paid cash for this car, and then stored it without ever driving it, and kept it for 50 years, you would see it for more than you paid for it. However, you would sell it for FAR less than if you took the purchase price of the car, invested it, and left it alone for 50 years.

The collectable aspect is m00t. I have owned a "collectable" car and I didn't get much for the "collectable" aspect when I sold it.

I believe this car will sell for WAY over market value new, and will only sell for BARELY over market value used.

Don't buy it as a collectable.

If anything short of that, it's just another Manufacture gimmick, just like Evo SE. If this CR model will be anything like EVO RS, I'll be pretty impressed.
