Manual soft top.
This will not give any substantial weight savings. This was a topic of debate during the conceptions of the S2000, and it was determined according to an internal Honda Product Reference Document or some such, that deleting the motors for the softop would only save 14lbs. The reason it was motorized was because:
A. Many European competitors had motorized roofs, and the S2000 was aimed squarely at them
B. It was found to be awkward to reach behind for the roof whilst in the cabin.

14lbs isn't a whole lot.

Where are we going to rest our arm now?

Hey BC, should i expect my eyes to still see shades of orange and red in front of me, or will they have to adjust to new indicators

I told Honda many times that their soft top sucks. I wonder how they are going to approach it to make it bulletproof against the UV lights

How can Honda Design a top that will NEVER rip?

Is the hardtop OEM? Aftermarket? Redesigned? Detachable?

Friday is a long day for everyone. So lets speed it up and play some games. I have a feeling that the right arm is going to have to adjust according to this new CR.
what i get from this is that the car will have a longer wheelbase. will be a little faster, maybe paddle shifters and it will be rear engine so the transmission tunnel will not be in the same place so the armrest will be lower. who knows. we'll find out soon enough, i guess.
