I'm done. 200 stripped models won't even be attainable by at least 25% of the owners who actually want one of these.
Plus the rare parts, their expensive costs to replace...
I'll take a Mazda Speed Miata over this if I wanted a lightweight ride.
Or... if I wanted a track version of a car...I'll go get a Z06 or Evo/Sti variant

They took out the air conditioning, the radio, and the soft top and only managed to save 90 lbs!!??!!, hell, you'd probably save over 100 lbs just removing those 3 items from an '06. That tells me they did basically ZERO weight reduction whatsoever.
They must really think we're a bunch of retards.
And I ALREADY have a voodoo countersunk shift knob so I have 100% of the drivetrain improvements of the CR!
Whoever was project lead on this should be drawn and quartered.

I feel insulted. This is nothing more than a trim package! It's like a Harely Davidson Ford F150. They could remove some weight by ditching that effed up wing, spoiler and tonneau cover.
They should have called this the Eddie Bauer Edition instead of the Club Racer.

For the 200 that are stripped, nobody will be able to really obtain one, except for the lucky few...
Id rather have a 911 and be all rare with that.
As for the 2nd guy in charge of making the NSX and S2000, boy did he get gipped for this, or was doing a lazy job. They could have done all these changes back in 2001 and it wouldn't seem that revolutionary.
