I know someone that has done it, so yes it's possible. I don't know how easy it was though.

Should bolt right up, I doubt they changed the way the seats connect, just the look.

Pre-06 to 06 is no problem. 06 to Pre-06/Aftermarket is another story.

Please elaborate.

I would figure that putting pre '06 seats into an '06-'07 would be the bigger no-no due to the airbag sensor(s) in the passenger seat.

Anyone that has actually done this care to chime in?

There's an excellent thread that discusses this in the Under the Hood section, Snoop. It's "stickied" right at the top, and talks about MY06 changes, including the seat issues.

I think you read my post wrong.

I meant Pre-06 to 06 as in changing your Pre-06 seats to 06 seats. Not putting Pre-06 seats into your 06.

Sorry, my post probably should've been written more clearly.

I reviewed that thread but did not find the information I needed. That thread mostly discussed the complexities of putting an older seat into a 2006 model due to weight sensors in the seat rails which exist in the newer cars.

My concern is more regarding whether the '06 rails will line up in an '05 model. And whether the seatbelt indicator sensor plugs up correctly...
