DEFINITELY!!!

After waiting TWO YEARS to get the optional front lip piece to be made by Xpel, I got my clear bra on. Noone seems to have the OEM lip spoiler piece for 00-03's made. Yes, you can have it custom cut at an install shop, but it will never look as good as when the "factory" professionally designs/measures, test fits, etc. and impliments into their system from a template. S2ki user "dly" was kind enough to stop by Xpel so they could make a template off his car in Texas. Within minutes it was available for download by my clear bra guy and he cut it out from his plotter in 30 seconds! Cool!

I decided not to clear bar the HOOD like most.

Why? I didn't want to see that "line". I know it would drive me nuts when waxing, and when dust collects. Plus, my car is a 2002, and no chip really anywhere on the hood - - they all seem happen on the bumper, and lower lip spoiler.

I had the lower lip spoiler done and the full front bumper, and thicker pieces on the headlights. You cannot tell this has the clear bra with this setup unless your eyes are 2 inches from the car, not like others.

Now for the pics:

I am a huge fan of the clear bra. Had one on my Subaru and now on the S. What people are saying is true. The sooner the better as you will not be able to fix anything underneath it. You can try doing some touch up paint work before hand to help.

I would not go the eBay route, find a good installer in your area. I watched mine get installed and it is definitely an art. You can also pick up some film for the headlights to help prevent scratches.

Be forwarned, trying to find an installer can be an interesting experience. Searching for "clear bra" on Google provided all kinds of interesting results...

If you are located near Dallas, TX I highly recommend:

Always get it professionally installed. It really is an art. The people that do this for a living will make sure that there are no air bubbles, and the panels are aligned properly because they do clear braing day in and day out. And yes, I would get one after touching up the rock chips.

about $300 for the clear bra (3m) and then $300 for a good install.

I used to want the clear bra but now I wear my chips as a badge of honor, it gets used. My car may not be as pretty as others here but it certainly has scars from the drives it's been on.

I'll second the recommendation of http://www.autodesignstexas.com/ for anyone living in the DFW area. They do excellent work. Wasn't any where near $600. Also, if you do not have very many chips, you can bring in touch-up paint and they will fill in any chips prior to install. You can't even tell the chips were there. Of course when and if you have the film removed, those chips will reappear

^^I thought about the price of repaint vs a GOOD install of clear bra...and I just don't think its worth $600-700 installed when I could just repaint the bumper in a few years. For that amount I could get a reeeally nice re-paint with extra coats of clear for later protection.
repaint isn't guaranteed to match. esp since honda doesn't sell paint.

I bought the 3m bra kit off ebay - and the paper matched samples I got direct from 3m prior to buying it. THe hood, bumper, fenders, and mirros was around 140. I spent a day and installed it- PITA but not worth 600 in my opinion.

SUre you can see it if you are a foot away from the car and looking for it, but the bugs, chips, and other junk are no longer a worry when I go on the highway.
