This is not as funny as it may sound.

Many advanced driving courses require a drive commentary from the driver under instruction. It is difficult to do and impressive when someone who can really do it demonstrates the art. To see them put into flowing commentary many of the things you unconsciously think about as you drive, and more importantly many of the things you DON'T can be humbling.

I stay well within my limits on the streets. I would say I stay in the 5/10s to 6/10s range. There is no need for me to take it to the limit when there are so many obstacles, ie other cars, dirt or gravel, debris, pedestrians, bicyclists, cliffs, mountainsides, trees, etc, etc. The people I drive with most are very good drivers and has helped me tremendously to understand the characteristics of this car.

We go to the track on a regular basis where you can push it to the limits if you have the cojones to do so. I tend to stay in the 7/10s to 8/10s range on the track. This is my outlet for the need for speed...even at 7/10s it does get exciting. Yes I would love to drive 10/10s but I am no hurry to do so. I will hone my skills first then take it to the limit.

I think the safest place to push the car to its limits is an auto-x. The only thing you really can hit is a cone. However, at an auto-x you lack the speed that you can reach on an open road or track.

I have attended 2 high performance driving classes as well as a number of instructor led track days.

I like to do a hard turning start on this car, where you would lose your rear and have to turn the other way to have control again, it is fun.
