remember that the a bigger surge means a more rapid change in acceleration and a bigger weight transfer per unit time. I like that mine is disappearing.

Amen. My daily driver is a Civic. I still get the same giddy feeling I got the first time V-Tech engaged on my S2000!

could it be that your ears are the ones that are feeling the kick because it's so loud?

I was just thinking the other day, my car is uncontrollable sometimes! I just got an oil change, did the fuel injector cleaning stuff, and got some new rears on stock wheels (I have 11,800 miles) and the VTEC is as crazy as ever, actually more violent then ever. I like it, but I feel sometimes it's gonna kill me or something. I'm always afraid of the rear end coming lose in a turn. I rarely VTEC anymore.

Maybe I should get a filter to smooth it out, or stiffer springs from gettin squirelly?.
