Does anyone have ANY data/thoughts on SC/TC and reliability?
I'ave asked questions regarding reliability and super/turbo charging and have gotten 0 responses. Is that not a concern for those who have super/turbo charged their cars?
Only time will tell....
I`ve been SC`d for 10k without a single problem. Other Members have had different results.
Bottom line: Any motor w/ forced induction will wear faster..it`s part of the game. I`m not really concerned.

Here are my origional questions:
1. Does Super/Turbo charging decrease the lifespan of the engine? If so, which is worse.
2. Are there other parts of the car (i.e. clutch, differential) that need to be upgraded to have a reliable SC'ed S2000?
3. Does the extra power throw off the amazing balance of the S2000's suspension?
Thanks,
Chris

Thank you for your answers. Here is what I am getting at:
I love the car as it is. The only thing is that I believe it lacks in power. The car stock is perfect for the track (at least for my driving abilities). However, due to lack of torque and power, it is not as much fun to drive on the road. I would like to have more horsepower and more torque. So I am considering SC'ing the car. I have decided against turbo because it seems like it stresses the engine more and is more expensive.
I would not get the car SC'ed if it turned the car into an unreliable, drag racing car with an overwhelmed suspension and transmission.
If I SC'ed the car (say CompTech SC), what other parts SHOULD I upgrade?

My vote is to stay stock. It sounds like what you are looking for is a large displacement high torque engine. The S2000's fun factor is in the overall package, it's revability and the handling. The fun is in threading the car at the limit around a turn, or listening to the 9000 rpm... The fun is in feeling the car's sharp responses through the steering, pedals, shifter and seat. Acceleration is ok but that was not mean to be the car's strong suite.
