I had bad rattles on my oem hardtop, after all of the adjustments I made I finally found out that my latches had lost their tension. Once I replaced the latches with replacements I've never had a rattle since. It is totally quiet now.

 

With hardtop strikers and shin etsu you will not hear a single sound. Mine is great- I could not live with any rattles.
