Does VTEC scare other drivers?
I had a guy on a bike almost fall over because I scared him. I was going under a bridge and wound it out. The car is pretty loud with an AEM CAI, but with the Toda cams, it's even louder and almost raspy. It scared the crap out of me the first time I got on it w/ the intake & cams. Now, it's just
Yeah, I sometimes time the VTEC point to engage just as I'm passing someone! It's great coming on the hot cams in tunnels.
I took a friend of mine out for a ride and once I passed 6000rpm, he shouted at me to watch out for my engine! Hee hee!

I once let my boyfriend drive the S2000 while I drove his Cougar... even when the car wasn't in VTEC, the engine is LOUD.
I had both windows open and was amazed because it sounds like the engine is about to blow up. When it hits VTEC, that's even worse, because it's still crazy loud - even though the S200 was at least a car length ahead of the Cougar.

Feels like F1... nothing like passing a cop in a tunnel @ 7K for the heart to start pumping.
I even slow down in tunnels on the blue ridge parkway so I can hit at least 2 VTECs... do I have a problem?
