does your guy's secret compartment lid open all the way with the top down?


i have a 2007 and i've also owned an AP1 and i never noticed it till now but.. mine doesnt because one of the bars on the soft top gets in the way. i noticed that when i push the bar back as im putting the top down..the top sits more flush with the trunk and i can open the lid to the compartment all the way.

always make sure that bar goes down. if it doesn't go down properly, you could rip your top.

 

You have a problem with your elastic straps then for the soft top. Give the bar a push when you lower the top, or replace the straps using Modifry's parts. Good luck!
