Default Soft top elastic straps... gone

The elastic straps which connect front bar and rear bar.

I went to modifry but it seems in my S2K there are no rivets????
Maybe because it's AUDM.

From what I heard it'll cost me AUS$66 per piece from Honda. For a bloody rubber! Even then not sure if DIY without proper instruction.

Is there a way to fix this problem myself? I'm thinking of folding the straps in the middle to squeeze every last bit of their elasticity.

Atm, I have to push the top bar each time I retract the soft top. No biggie but like to see if I can fix it with minimal cost.

Suggestion?

Cheers

Nb: I'll post photo later.

The rivets are "behind" the bar against the fabric of the top where the straps are attached to the bars. You would probably have to feel for them more than look for them.
I cant imagine Honda would make the top different for the AUDM market.

Saber and I have replaced 2 sets of these on cars in our area - he is acurate in saying the rivits are there, just covered. If I remember correctly they are not on the top, but in the top half. If you pull your strap to the side, you should see them.

I have to feel the rear one and yes they are there. The front one is hidden underneath the strap that's why I didn't see it but yeah they're there for sure.

I'm ordering Modifry kit now.

For now I am stuck with having to push the bottom bar down each time I retract the top

Cheers guys!
