I don't see the big deal, either. I've owned 2 S2000's, now on my 2nd Miata, both are great cars.

The NC ('06+) Miata feels quite a bit roomier inside than the S2000, esp. in shoulder/elbow room.

yeah don't show any emotion. when someone calls your car a miata. esp. friends cause if they see you get upset (which it clearly does) will keep saying it. when I first got my car my friends in there cavaliers err i mean cobalts called me a miata i got upset. now i don't care, its a joke now. they call me a miata and I call them cavaliers.
