Door locks

Default Door locks

Hi how crazy is this there is no switch to unlock or lock that passengers door. What do you guys do? use the remote?

My arms are long enough lean over and unlock the passenger door from the driver's seat.

Years ago, someone (modifry?) had a relatively simple modification to make both doors unlock anytime the driver's door unlocked. If it's a big deal to you, do a search. I usually unlock both using the remote before I get in the car, if I know I'll be having a passenger. If the key's in the ignition, the remote won't work, so you'll have to lean over to unlock it.

I did it. Took 10 minutes. Now I never worry about that stupid lock.

As far as is goes for locking whenever you lock the driver side it auto locks the passenger side. If you wanna be able to unlock then you'll have to mod something. I read one a while back somewhere were you ran wires to your convertible top switch and to unlock you just tapped the button.

pull one wire from the plug under the dash, your good by using remote.
