driver side window
I feel sick everytime I read something about vandalism or theft involving an S2000.
I have 2 web cam's pointed at my back yard/garage and they record slo-mo AVI's (ATM style). They don't do very well at night though, so I have a motion detecting light installed on the garage as well. I have a 3rd camera, but haven't had time to hook it up. The third camera is simply a 0 lux sony handycam. That one would probably be good for nighttime, but the infrared emitter tends to reflect off the window. I would need to install an infrared spotlight outside.
haha, and since the garage is locked 99% of the time and The s2000 is parked inside, I think I'm at more risk of having someone see the cameras and break the window of my house to get them :-)
You can actually see the live web cameras through my home page in the toolbar above. Its been cold so you probably won't catch a glimpse of the S2K- but you can see the garage in which it is locked.
I've been considering running ethernet out to the Garage so I can drop a web cam there as well :-) But running the ethernet involves tunneling under the sidewalk or at minimum digging up the cable modem cable and piggy-backing through their tube.
I'm really paranoid of the car being scratched/damaged/stolen, etc. The other night I had a nightmare that the engine was stolen from it and the police just laughed at me when I called and thought I was drunk because I had difficulty speaking after losing my engine.
