This tells me that it's the regulator. I hope it lasts for you. In any case, for future reference, to figure out if it's the regulator or some other component that is related to the soft top function, see if the "auto-down" feature works. That is, DON'T hold the button the whole time. Just hit it once and if the window only goes down part way, it's the window regulator. If it goes down all the way but won't do it when you use the top, then it's in another component associated with the top function. It won't be anything to do with the main ECU.

Mine does that occasionally.

Am I worried about it? No. If the window will still go down I am okay with it.

there is a TSB on this problem. It is very common, happened to me and has been discussed on the board numerous times...
