Ok so when I go to put my top down the drivers side window only goes down a inch or so. I have to hit the down button to get it to go the rest of the way. Any ideas on whats wrong before I decied to take it to honda.

Its a TBS take it to your dealer and see if they can do it under "goodwill" or if you still have warranty; it'll be covered. Good luck

Thanks, unfortunatly its out of waranty. But I will take it in and see what they can do.

it's a TSB. i'm on my 3rd right now. it was covered under HondaCare.

also -- there's a 'trick' to get the problem to temporarily stop. ymmv.

start the car.
-roll the window all the way down, release the switch, then down again, and hold it for 10 seconds or so. you'll hear a slight click.
-roll the window all the way up, release the switch, then up again and hold it for 10 seconds or so. you'll hear another slight click.

this should reset the window regulator and help. if you're not hearing the clicks, you're not holding long enough.
after it goes up and clicks, you won't be able to roll down the window for about 30 seconds.

i hope i'm remembering this right. i thought this post used to be in the FAQ, but i can't find it now.
