Default drivers side window- again

my auto down has been broken, like many of yours, for over a year now-
i have been waiting for honda to find a real fix, since i have read many posts by those who got theirs fixed but it just broke again-
can someone tell me whether honda has found the permanent fix yet so i can get mine fixed finally?
anyone had a fix that worked? if so do you know what they did?

I had a Civic that did it too. Thought I got rid of the problem when I traded it for the S2000

Wanabe,
Get the one touch up/down window mod being sold by emc2. This mod works great. Very easy install. I agree with Modifry its well worth it!
Hey, emc2, thanks for the quick shipment, I already got my second set to put on the wife's Accord.

For anybody just "thinking" about doing this mod, it is well worth it. My drivers window has had the old "auto-down" failure twice, once repaired under warranty, next time no warranty so it's been broken for the last year.

But it works now!!! And I've got auto-up to boot. Works exactly as advertised.

The wiring is not that hard, you'll probably spend more time getting the door panel off and back on than you do on the wiring, and the door panel is easy! I thought about making some these things myself, since I do a lot of electronic mods on my car, but for $25 it's just not worth it. Buy these and put 'em in, you'll love it.

Best $50 I've spent on my car.
Hope this helps,
Glen

I just had the regulator replaced in my car. The NEXT DAY it was crapping out on me again. I think it's just something I'll have to live with, heck it's not like the window doesn't go down, you just have to keep your finger on the switch. Life is rough

After 2.5 years and 26K happy miles, mine has given out.

This is almost as irritating to me as the Decel Buzz which kicked in about 2K miles ago...

Guess it's time to bite the bullet and send her in for surgery.
