I had my 2002 s for a year now and I have two tears in it and some wear spots. Realy pissed me off. Im saving for a hardtop instead of a new soft.

About how many times a day/drive do you put up and down the top?

i just bought 303 aerospace protectant and top looks brand new and black again. not that the my top had wear and tear it just didn't look black anymore but a dark charcoal in color. i'm intrested to see how long that black shine lasts because this is the first time treating the top since i got the car.

303 will help in general but you'll see the most benefit if applied preventatively as opposed to trying to use it as a restorative product.

Stock top, two winters, parked in a garage for the first 6 years of its life, outside for the last 2.5 (she'll be in service 9 years this coming december). Top is faded a bit, but there is absolutely no visible wear on the vinyl.
