NJHB,
Ludite is a term I'm not familar with, nor is The New Oxford Dictionary. It sounds like something I could use, please define.

D Dusty

Sorry my bad spelling! Should be Luddite!

Luddite

Etymology: perhaps from Ned Ludd, 18th century Leicestershire workman who destroyed machinery
Date: 1811: one of a group of early 19th century English workmen destroying laborsaving machinery as a protest; broadly : one who is opposed to especially technological change.

Technical Incompetent!!!

Update: I've taken the advice given here to heart and made two changes.

1) the horns are now angled down at about 45 degrees.

2) the positive electrical connection is now in a crimp tube, with self gluing heat shrink tubing over it.

I didn't get any new pictures.

Thanks for the suggestions, everybody.

Tedster,
I did the same install of the Fiamm units. Stock horns are 110 db. Fiamm's 130 db per. Much louder in my garage. They make the jackstands vibrate, these should get SUV's attentionon the road. Thanks again for the idea.

Denny,

you're welcome! Gald they're working out for you.

I still haven't fired mine in anger, but I know it'll happen soon, and I'm sure these horns will command more attention than the stock one.
