Then basically, the most economical bang for the buck performance mod is rear end gears. Still far from inexpensive.

That is something I will be looking into then, I have always been tempted to run a 50-75 wet shot but I have just heard so many horror stories... I have also been told to go direct port and be sure to get all the extras, bottle heater, kill switch, purge system..

'Moderate'? Define moderate.

There is nothing cheap that will make good power. As already stated, NOS will get you some if you like to mess with that and gears will move your power lower (you do give up the top end speed though, keep that in mind).

Some of the bolt ons will add a few HP here and there and an AEM EMS will help (I have no experience with them though so I can't give you any real numbers).
