where can I buy an '02 ECU for my '00 S2K? Is there a diff. between an '01, 02, 03 ECU?

 

yes theres a diff.. 00-01 were the same, and 02-03 were the same. They made a few minot differences in the car between 00 and 01, but the majority of changed to the Ap1s were between the 01 and 02 models.

I would look at AEM EMS, VFAC-II, or an 02-03 ECU. You should be able to find hp info from all of them on the site, then figure out which fits your budget. personally I wouldn't even begin to consider EMS due to the price unless I had FI and wanted extreme tuneability.

 

when you say "no real top end power" do you mean less power in the top end...or just that there is nothing to GAIN in the top end by switching? I'd hate to switch then find out i have less top end power.
