effect of air conditioning on performance

I can't imagine an AC compressor spinning up 9 grand. I turn mine off when VTEC is planned.

Some how I doubt the AC turns off after Vtec, but hey anythings possible. I've noticed alot less lag then with other cars. But I can still tell when its on.

A/C is very, very useful in the cold and wet, use it with the heat turned up to demist your car!

I don't know what you guys are talking about.
There is a VERY noticeable performance hit when the A/C is ON. I live in Florida and use A/C quite a bit, and it definitely slows acceleration.

I might do a G-Tech test to see how much, but I notice it.
