With your lack of reading comprehension, how did you get through technical school?

wow what a loser, i think you need to get a life.
you can't even fix your car yourself. oh yeah with my "technical school training" i still fix my own car. no one touches my car but me. i fix anything and everything on my own car. you probably take your car into the shop to check your tire pressure and change oil.
Sorry to hear... alot places r ____ these days... when i put my car to Honda dealer for alignment they did a 20mile test drive... and when i asked why.... they said its nessecary.... hm... and they only want to give me 3 bucks gas money....

No need for unnecessary arguement. Customers will never come to a point where they can fully trust a shop. Reason being most of customers do not know anything about car repair, and when people need to pay for something that they do not understand completely, they tend to think/doubt that they're getting ripped off. and because car repair is a huge unexpected expense, people come to the shop with their battle gears on.
I do understand that there are stories about how people get ripped off and get half a$$ job done at a shop. There ARE some shops like that including some dealerships. That's why you need to find a reputable shop which will help those reputable shops stay in business and get rid of those shady shops by not giving them any business.
Technician's are humans and humans make mistakes. And those mistakes happen when they're nervous. so PLEASE, do not stand outside of the shop watching a technician work on your car. You watching over him will make him nervous and can result higher posibility to make a mistake. This only applies if you trust the shop you go to.
I am not trying to start an arguement in any way so please don't flame me to the hell

You gotta be joking. Dealers charge an arm and a leg and you have to be lucky to get a decent tech that will respect your property? How fricking ridiculous is that? Dealers charge a lot for service, Isn't that because they are supposed to be the trustworthy ones who will guarantee that the job is done right? So a costumer should expect that their car is going to be handled with care while in their possession as part of professional service, plain and simple. I think crap like this happens because it's part of the service employees' culture. If the head honcho of the service dept. puts a lid in this type of behavior to start with, the problem will be minimized.
That's a bit ridiculous, as it's not easy to do an alignment without the professional equipment or experience.
IMO it's best to learn to do as much as possible on your own, then find a trustworthy independent shop and stick with them. I drive about 41 miles to a shop for work I can't do myself because there is no one close to me that I can trust. And that includes the Honda dealer about 3 miles away (heck NO!!, Never!)
