Rubber edging pushed on to the edges of the screen might work if it fills the gap and makes it tight on the roll bars.

Either split rubber tube or teh stuf that goes on the metal around door and boot aperture.

Might work better than drilling holes IMHO.

 

I think the problem is that the wind pushes the deflector forward with pretty damn much force. There is also quite a gap to fill with rubber edging. I am looking for rubber bump stops like Citadel Blue has.

 

do these things make that much of a difference as far as wind turbulance in the cabin? I was thinking of just removing the sock one I had because the damn thing annoys me

Its small enough to wear you cant see it in the mirror and the OEM doesnt rattle.
