First Convertible?
It's my first convertible...
That was a big factor, along with the performance. Coming from a C5 Coupe, I knew that I wanted a convertible. I also wanted something with respectable performance, great reliability, decent gas mileage...
well, I just didn't like how I sat in the Miata. that was enough to make me look at an S2000. Dealer attitudes and pricing were a bit of a turn-off, but finding a used S2000 at a reasonable price, getting great trade-in on the Vette, and dealing with an excellent dealership led me to pick up the pre-owned 2000 S2000 that came in on a trade in for an NSX.
But in all fairness, if I didn't want a ragtop, I would have considered a whole different type of car than the S2000.
Now that I have a ragtop, I'll never own a targa top car again. Its either all the way, or a sunroof for me.
