First k24 swap into an s2k?
I think alot of people have missed the point with this build. The torque curve is vastly different to the F-series and with the intention to remain N/A it makes sense. I for one give him props for doing what he wanted instead of listening to naysayers. Not to mention it turned out really really well.
Congrats to the Builder and I hope other people continue to push the limit.

as for the op. the k24 swap sounds interesting. the only thing i did not like was that he had to tear the engine to get better numbers than a stock F-series engine. talk about loss of reliability, and you all know it.
Wow, it seems like some people are simply unfamiliar with hondas and modding them. Props to the guy who stuck the K series in his s2k. I'd love a K-series in the s2k, and honestly folks who say it "changes the nature of the car" and "it's not what was originally intended" I think are pulling things out of their a**.
Swapping honda blocks for slightly larger displacement ones is nothing new, and has been done for a long time. Back in '00 when I was modding my integra, LS/Vtec's and b20/vtecs were all the rage and became quite popular (the b20 is out of a CRV as well, and is essentially an overbored integra/b series block). They can and are quite reliable (if built properly, like any engine). The K series is an evolution of the b-series, and the reason why it wasn't in the s2k? Because it wasn't around till the RSX came out in '02 I believe. There's no other reason besides the fact that it didn't exist in time for the s2k. A K series can easily rev to 9k just like an s2k. Hell, the B series heads back in the integra would go to 9k+ easily (and they didn't even have roller cams!).
There's ZERO arguing that the k-series engines are superior to the s2k, largely because of the i-vtec. Do I wish honda could have stuff one in the s2k? Sure, but the F20 is still a great engine.
So, props to the guy for doing this swap. Those that are criticizing him simply are clueless about the advantages of the K series.
