This thread HAS to be a joke.

Volkswagon makes NOTHING thats remotely as good looking or as cool as the S2000. I mean seriously - what are we talking about here, Civics vs Golfs? Ok, whatever. Hondas S2000 is way cooler than VWs convertible offering, or really anything in their lineup. Then again, the S2000 is Hondas coolest car!



And for the record, Volkswagon has probably made the "gayest" vehicles of all time.

 

I've gotten different attitudes from different car owners. I found that you can't please everyone and you'll be surprised at the people who actually like your ride.I've gotten compliments from Mustang drivers and yet I have a friend(who's big into Nissan and Mazda)who pokes fun at Hondas all day long. This Friday I'm going to an O.E.M car show and I'm going to enjoy it for what it's worth. In the end,we're all car crazy and it really doesn't matter what you drive.

Can't we all just get along???

So true. I've been amazed at the way most people react to the car. Most comments are positive, and the number of negative comments has been so low that it's hard to even recall any of them. Hahaha, and this was true both before and after the car was modifed and riced out. Most other people who actually see the car, like it at least as much as I do, and I think some of them even like it more (which is saying quite a lot). I have *never* gotten any flack from VW drivers.

Hahaha, maybe I drive too fast for them to catch up and make negative comments? j/k

Almost everyone I know thinks that S2000's are great cars. Go figure.

 

I used to work at a VW/Audi shop. I built a Audi 90, it felt semi-quick to be so detuned (250whp). The thing I hated is that nothing is easy to do on these cars. I had to take the entire front end off the car to get the engine out. I think their styling has always been somewhat ahead of the rest. electrical is horrible quality IMO. Why do the headlights need their own ECU? Seriously all that stuff is junk, over engineering IMO, its like they love their job and have nothing else to do so they sit around and think of all the crap they can cram on a car.

 

The only thing VW ever made that was cool to me was Bubble Bee, and he isn't even a VW now. HAHAHA

Audi on the other hand is different.

 

I never liked VW, more of a womans car for some reason.

Audi's I kind of like (some) but for the price would rather have a BMW.

The guy I used to work for just built a 440whp VW R32, pretty gangster IMO. The main mechanic has a 550+whp VR6 Jetta, dyno queen though. The owner also has an UR Quattro that made a magazine. He's got a rally golf. I'd take any of those cars, but not over the S2K hehe.
