I made the wooden mini ramps, but its a pain to use them. Place them, get in, drive up, get out, just so I can get jack under center front jack point.
So instead I bought a second trolly jack. The cheapest, smallest aluminum one from Harbor Freight. I place it on a side, front jack point, the rocker panel pinch weld, then jack car up just enough to get my bigger jack under jack point. I fimd this much faster and easier than the wood mini ramps.
I like this idea of using a second jack rather than driving up ramps. A small aluminum jack can be bought for around $70. And it also serves as a spare, because cheap jacks, LOL. My only concern is when lowering the car back down (jack stands removed), must make sure the side jack is back in place and raised up under the front pinch weld jack point so the car is not lowered all the way, to allow the main jack to slide out. And then you release the side jack. Is that your procedure?

You don't need a second jack for this. Just jack from the reinforced point on the front side, slip two pieces of scrap 2x4 under front wheel and lower it. The jack then will clear from the front. If you have the car lowered an extreme amount, you might need 3 pieces.

Obviously if you already have a second jack, that can work too, but there's no need to buy one just to avoid driving onto ramps.

Its really even easier, jack from the side rear point and you can fit one stand under the front side point. Lift from front for the other side and you're done with the front. No boards, no second jack.

The more I think about it - it probably doesn't make sense to jack from the middle of the side where there is no approved jack point.
