USAA (if you're military or military family you can get it, otherwise out of luck), about $750 for the year for my new S2K. I've got all my insurance with them, and a clean (now) driving record. USAA also pays dividends to policy holders if they have a profitable year. Last year I got $900 back. USAA IMO is by far the best insurer in the country.

State Farm charges us about $1300/year for the '00 stook and '99 Accord Coupe. We have full comp, collision with $250 deductible, plus a one million $ liability umbrella. I also carry my homeowners' policy with State Farm, and have for nearly thirty years. They have always done right by me on coverage and payment.

Strike - Like Sondra, I'll recommend Mercury. We've been using them for several years - they have excellent rates. I've just renewed the policy and they haven't raised the rates ... yet . The S2K is about $800 per year (250/500 coverage in S. Florida, I'm over 40, 2 vehicle discount, no tickets or claims). We're saving several hundred dollars per year over State Farm. And Rick, we don't qualify for USAA .

I have Nationwide, which I believe owns 20th Century also, and my rates are under $500 per year. I do, however, have my S2000 listed as a pleasure vehicle with 5-6k mis per year and I have 5 vehicles and my home with Nationwide also.

Erie Insurance here in PA. i pay $475/year for S2000 and $475/year for the Typhoon.

Grand Total $950 for both, plus $100 for liability on my Bug.

Not bad eh. 31yrs, married (why?), no accidents or tickets for past 8 years.

I must be really getting screwed. I'm 26 (where's that 25 discount?), license for 8 years, have no tickets or accidents within 3 years (except the most recent one, which doesn't count just yet), all tickets/etc were on a 94 Tercel and I've had an Integra GSR and now the S2k. I pay over $3000/yr in Maryland w/Progressive at 20/40/500. I can't figure out why I can't get a better rate. This is driving me crazy. ARGH!!!
Geico quoted me a slightly higher rate including the most recent accident. I hate Maryland. The Insurance companies don't even give a discount for security systems.

Ah well. Time to shop around again.
