Default Funny Stook experience

I was out for my saturday morning drive. I was exstalling some virtue to my wife while we were standing at a trafiic light. When a police car pulls up next to me facing the oncoming traffic.
I now think this pleasant drive is about to get ugly. When the policeman says "what kind of car is that?". and continues with how much horsepower et. al. questions. I explain that I never use all the horsepower on the street. Which he replies " I hear that the S2K sounds great. He continues with " hey rev it up"
which I do. He says " sounds great". He ends our conversation with giving me the thumbs up sign and telling me to enjoy myself.

I am I living my life right?

That's kinda interesting, he didn't know what kind of car you had and then later on saying that he heard that the S2000 sounding great.

Weird... anyways, I love hearing positive stories about cops and S2000s. It sure does beat the negative ones.

Hoboken. What color is your S2000? I was down there a couple of weeks ago and saw a black one on 14th street just across from the parking lot for Baja and Puerto Spain.

My girlfriends brother sees your car all the time and is surprised you have it on the street. I used to live on Garden between 6th and 7th but that was pre stook days. Now I just take the train through Hoboken and get in on Saturday's for Fiore's roast beef.

Actually, that is another guy who has a silver/red parked on street. Mine is in the garage. But, it is better to see stooks on the street in Hoboken instead of boxsters and z3s. Lord knows we have enough of them!

Almost the same thing happened to a couple of us at the Ashville S2K Days (I am ready for more of those "days" soon).

We were pumping gas at about 11:30pm in our two Stooks when a policeman on foot stopped by and asked a bunch of those kind of questions. It may be so they'll know what they are chasing if one tries to get away later.

Who knows. Could be just being friendly I dont usually get that.
