My Blk/Blk S2K will be ordered at the end of March. I have driven one on two occasions once for 10 minutes the other for an hour. They resulted in a deeper lust for this little marvel. But an hour & ten minute drive is just not enough, so I'd like some input from you gentlemen & ladies. I have been Honda/Acura loyal for a number of years & want to know if I can expect the same level of workmanship as my previous experiences? How is it as a daily commuter? I'm leasing so the number of things I'm going to add is going to be minimal. Speakers to start with, any suggestions without breaking the bank (just door speakers), I know you get what you pay for. One other thing is upgrading to 17' rolling stock. Have any of you done this? I am leaning that way but am concerned that the handling dynamics may be altered in a negative fashion. Two more little things are a bra & treatment for the rear window. I'll need a bra to fit with the front under spoiler & I know about plexus for the rear window but is it the most effective thing to use? I look forward to hearing from you & joining the ranks as an owner as well. Have an S2K day!!!

Don't forget he might want to pay the residual and keep the car when the lease is up. This would be good enough reason for looking after it.

I lease my stook, but I still treat it like a member of the family. Plexus is a must for the rear window, as well as 3m cleaner and polish (available from your dealer). The Muz mat for the inside top well and a good terrycloth towel to protect the outside of the windowwhen lowering the top is a must. I won't go into detail on the towel here, but if you email me (lannyvest@home.com) I'll give you all the info. I haven't changed my speakers, but a search should give you more info, too.

Rick's console cover is another must-have to cover up the cheesey carpet on the center console.

The S2000 is a joy for a daily drive, provided you've got some good roads to travel. If you're going to be stuck in bumper-to-bumper traffic, it won't be much fun. But if you have some twisties (I do) and a few places to open it up now and then, there's no better way to start the day than a blast down the road to work in this fantastic machine .
