That sounds awesome. I've actually been meaning to attend one of those as I've never been. I'll PM you my email address. Does your car have an intake? I spotted an S2000 of your color a few months ago when I was riding my bike down Gorman and when the owner of the car got on it I could definitely tell it had an intake system.
And yep, I do have an Injen cold air intake. I'm slightly addicted to the sound.
Could have been worse...but dang that sucks
Almost had the same thing happen to me: https://www.s2ki.com/s2000/topic/836...#entry19972016

I'm using Performance Auto Body in Cary. I went to them 2 years ago when I messed up my front bumper enough to warrant a repaint
They were recommended by Cary AutoPark Honda and I liked them enough to return.
As to Wolf Village, I'm not sure. Where exactly is that? I live in Trailwood Hills and thus can often be found driving down Avent Ferry, Western Blvd, Centennial Pkwy, Gorman Street, etc.

Once the car is restored back to its former glory, you should join us for our local monthly meets at Cars and Coffee! NFRs are somewhat under-represented

I've been aware of this possibility since owning my car. It has to do with the slick metal on the pedals in the S. I've even considered applying something to the pedals that would allow for a little more friction at my feet. A little rubberization could go a long way insuring a safer automobile IMO.

The soles of your shoes dont't have to be worn out, they just have to be wet. You'll notice this same situation again when the weatheris bad regardless of how new your shoes may be.
